For over a century, the Hebrew Educational Society- today The New H.E.S., has been the cultural, educational, and recreational center for a vibrant community.

Serving both the Jewish community and the community at large, we offer a broad range of programs, classes, and special events to enrich the mind, the body, and the spirit. If you are looking for a licensed daycare, after school program, athletic and social programs, special services for your child or dependent adult, or the finest conservatory-style music training, you will find it all at the H.E.S.

The New H.E.S. is the only community service agency in Southeast Brooklyn that works with every segment of the population. Our compassionate and professional staff is dedicated to bettering the lives of all: children and families, teens and seniors, immigrants and those with special needs. Our doors are open to all!
