The H.E.S. learn to swim program is the community's largest provider of year round swimming instruction for students of all ages and abilities. Our American Red Cross certified instructors, with years of experience, are dedicated to teach all students to be safe and proficient in the water.
Our program consists of four yearly cycles. Each cycle lasts for ten weeks with an additional eleventh week to make up missed classes. Each class runs for 45 minutes. Our small class size allows for the instructor to spend plenty of time with each student to work on individual tasks and master the techniques being taught.
Once being tested, each student is then placed into his/her age and skill appropriate class. Our highly skilled instructors will then apply a personalized program to the class which will focus and improve the following: fear of being in the water, self-confidence, strength and conditioning in the water, learning of the four swimming strokes and the most important, to enjoy whether you're exercising or having fun at a beach or pool.
Private and semi -private groups are also available and are offered according to the student's availability.
