ASP COVID-19 Updates

Dear H.E.S. Families,

The H.E.S. is proud to be your community center, providing childcare, recreational programs, social services, food services, and as much support as possible during times of need.

While the COVID-19 situation continues to develop and we are forced to make changes to our regular program schedule, the H.E.S. team has put a freeze on upcoming payments for the After School Program. If you are on our automatic billing plan and do not have an outstanding balance, your payment will be frozen temporarily, and you will not be charged until further notice.  Those of you who have paid for the month in full will have your time frozen.  We will update you on when this freeze will end and what our next steps are as we learn more.

The After School Program is working on a schedule of activities and support which will be offered to our participants. We will send you more detailed information about these activities shortly and details will be posted on the H.E.S. website. These activities will include homework help, fun activities and contests, virtual discussion groups and eBook Club among other activities.

Although our programs are not running as usual right now, our staff is still here working hard to provide alternative programing and support. We know that this is a hard and stressful time for all, and want to remind you that our food pantry and social services department are here to help your family through.  Please do not hesitate to contact us during these difficult times by phone or email and we will do our best to help.
