DESCRIPTION:A note from JCRC: \n  \n“In light of the murder of George Floyd and ongoing protests around our city and country\, the Virtual Celebrate Israel Parade will be postponed until Sunday\, June 21st at 1 pm (EDT). \nWe stand in partnership with our sisters and brothers in the Black community\, and in all communities of color\, as we collectively strive to stamp out racism and prejudice in all of its forms from our society. We in the Jewish community know all too painfully the end result of unchecked hatred. The theme of this year’s parade is thank you to frontline workers. This postponement does not detract from our deep appreciation for all those who have risked and continue to risk their lives to save ours. We look forward to the day when we can give them the gratitude they truly deserve.”
