MLK 2022 – RECAP

We couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you to all of our staff and volunteers that joined us for yesterday’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.

Together, we packed hundreds of soup packages for homebound seniors, cleaned and donated tens of much-needed coats for those without them, and helped maintain the continued operation of our food pantry for the days and weeks ahead, for all of those in need of food stability.

Martin Luther King Jr.’s mission did not end with his passing, and even today, we know his mission is a continuing one – it is a mission that cannot be restricted to a single day each year.

We hope that with a start to the year filled with collaboration and positivity, we can provide a safer, stronger, and healthier future for our community and beyond. We can only be our best by bringing ourselves together.
