While the circumstances aren’t allowing us to volunteer together, as dr. King said, “We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do right.”
Join us all month long to do right, and care for our community together.
All projects can be done as an individual or a family.

At Home Opportunities –
Friendship cards for Isolated seniors
Thank You cards for our local first responders.
Please see the instructions below for at-home card creation.
Show your appreciation for those working the front lines during these trying times by honoring first responders in our community with cards you made yourselves!
Clear an hour or two of your time, sit down on your own or with your family, and create Thank You cards, uplifting notes, children’s drawings, or any other kind of way to share your gratitude for their hard work.
All you need is paper, pens, and some creativity. You are welcome to use markers, crayons, stickers, glue, and scissors, or any other materials. Use your imagination, or print out a coloring page or quote. Be sure to include add a note from you to ensure a smile.
Once you are finished, you can drop off the cards at the HES front desk. We will collect them and deliver them to a local hospital. All cards must be in by 1/31/2021.
