Although our doors are closed for most programs and social distancing is the new norm, the staff at the H.E.S. is hard at  work creating digital content for you to participate in from the comfort of your own home. Whether you are a member, participant, or member of the Southern Brooklyn family, there are resources and tools for everyone to take advantage of.

FOOD PANTRY operates by appointment; you can reserve your monthly appointment online by clicking HERE.
GRAB-AND-GO meals are offered first-come, first-serve. Stop by the H.E.S. (entrance on East 95th Street) to pick up meals for your school-aged children.

Join your child’s EARLY CHILDHOOD teacher and friends every morning and throughout the day for circle-time, story-time, exercise, science, crafts, and other fun projects.

Join Austin Noel our Director of Persons with Disabilities Departments as he leads program participants through mindfulness exercises and easy at-home art projects.

COVID-19 DISABILITY FORM– This form is designed to help physicians provide you with proper medical treatment, in case you need to go to the hospital for COVID-19 related symptoms. We encourage you to be prepared and complete as many of the questions as possible.

Center for Israel Education –  a variety of materials to enhance your knowledge of Modern Israel including videos of past CIE presentations; recorded webinars; podcasts; and informational videos about specific topics.
PJ Library As many families are spending a lot of time at home with their kids. PJ Library has a variety of ideas for ways to stay busy and have fun at home

 

The Celebrate Israel Parade is going virtual, with a theme of “TODAH” – Thank You.  The June 7th virtual parade will have a charitable component with proceeds going to Covid-19 relief and recovery locally, nationally, and in Israel. The event will be streamed via YouTube and on the Parade’s website, Facebook and Twitter accounts at both 1 pm and 7 pm on June 7th to maximize the number of people who can participate.
