Where there is a need, the Hebrew Educational Society stands ready to serve.

The H.E.S. provides critical services that address and serve the needs of our Brooklyn community. Our work is anchored in our Jewish values, our commitment to social justice, and our efforts to support diversity, inclusion, and equity.

At the H.E.S., patrons of all ages gather for social, recreational, educational, social action, supportive services, and wellness and cultural programs. Our members, families and patrons attend our early childhood and youth programs, participate in Parent Support Groups, seek disability services, volunteer, receive food from our Pantry, play pickleball, learn to swim, play team sports and hone their musical skills. From early childhood to senior care programs, the H.E.S. strives to serve all community members in order to support our beloved Brooklyn community.
