Teen Leadership Council

The Teen Leadership Council is a free year-long life skills and leadership-development program for 13 to 19 year olds. Teen Council is a safe space for teens to grow, express, lead, talk and engage with their peers and mentors.

The goals of the program are to:

  • Network with local talent and mentors
  • Learn critical lessons that are not taught in school such as life skills
  • Increase knowledge of financial literacy
  • Nurture skills such as leadership and sportsmanship through sports and fitness
  • Be creative and impactful communicators via storytelling and film making sessions

The Teen Leadership Council includes weekly get togethers, trips and fun social events. Upcoming events include community service (pantry, shelters, etc.), axe throwing, laser tag, arcade day, tournaments, and video games. In February, a trip to a HBCU, Lincoln University, to watch a basketball game, tour campus and eat in the cafeteria.

Times: Thursdays 6 – 8pm and Sundays 1 – 4pm
