OUR SCHOOL
The H.E.S. Early Childhood Center fosters a climate of trust, belonging and collaboration where children, families, and staff all feel included.

Our inclusive practices reflect our diverse community of learners and respect the uniqueness of each family by incorporating what is important to families into our educational program.  Families are invited to school-wide activities and are welcome to join in the daily routines of the classroom.

Our licensed Early Childhood Center accepts children 2 ½ to 5 years of age.

OUR STAFF
Classrooms are staff by a lead teacher and an assistant teacher.  Teachers hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education and are working toward master’s degrees and New York State Teacher Certification.

OUR FAMILIES
Our families are an integral part of the school.  We have a Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) made up of parents from across our program.  PAC board members are voted into office by their fellow parents and together, the families and school building a rich learning environment for the children.  Parent volunteers support the school by assisting with school-wide activities and raising funds to enrich the children’s learning experiences.
