SENIOR ADULTS RECREATION CENTER AT THE H.E.S.

The Senior Day Recreation Service is a community resource program that enables our neighbors, 60 years of age and older, to stay healthy and happy in our community.

The program offers services at the H.E.S. and members’ homes. We currently serve residents living in the area between Coney Island Avenue to Brighton Beach.

Our goals are building community, empowering individuals  to achieve their potential and enhancing the quality of their lives.

We Offer:

• Assistance with and access to social services, including benefits/entitlements (e.g., SSI, SNAP (food stamps), housing assistance, and more)

• Advocacy, information and referral services to community and government agencies

• Financial and legal consultations

• Crisis intervention

• Social, educational, and recreational activities, trips

• Volunteer opportunities
